Terms of Service
These terms of service govern your use of this website and the HVAC services provided by Reliance Air Services Inc. By scheduling service or using the site, you agree to them, so please read them carefully.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using this website or engaging Reliance Air Services Inc. (the “Company,” “we,” “us” or “our”), you (the “Customer” or “you”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors and users. By using our services you confirm you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract.
Estimates and Quotes
We provide two kinds of pricing so you always know where you stand before work begins.
| Type | How it is provided | Is it binding? |
|---|---|---|
| Ballpark estimate | A rough range by phone or email, based on your description | No, it is not a binding offer |
| Formal proposal | A fixed price in writing after an on-site inspection | Yes, valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise |
Scheduling and Site Access
- Arrival windows: We give an arrival window (for example, 8 AM to 12 PM) and try to arrive within it. If the technician will be more than 30 minutes late, we will contact you by phone or text.
- Adult present: An adult 18 or older must be at the property during service unless other arrangements were made in advance.
- Clear access: Please provide clear access to the HVAC equipment, thermostat and electrical panel.
- Pets: For everyone's safety, pets must be secured or kept out of the work area.
- Wait time policy: If the technician arrives within the window but cannot access the property, or no adult is present, a service call or dispatch fee may still be charged to cover time and travel.
Payment Terms and Deposits
Payment is due when service is complete unless we agree otherwise in writing for larger installation projects. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover; checks, subject to verification; and financing through approved partners such as GreenSky, FTL Finance and Wisetack.
For equipment installations, including new air conditioners, heat pumps and mini-splits, a deposit of up to 50% may be required before equipment is ordered. The deposit reserves your place on the schedule and covers material costs.
Warranties and Guarantees
Two separate kinds of coverage may apply to your service:
- Workmanship warranty: covers labor and installation errors. The specific terms, such as a one-year workmanship warranty or our 10-Year Comfort Guarantee on new installs, are stated on your invoice or proposal.
- Manufacturer warranty: covers equipment parts and compressors. Terms vary by brand. We help with registration but do not set or control these terms.
Warranties are void if equipment is serviced, modified or repaired by unauthorized third parties, or if maintenance required by the manufacturer is not performed. Our maintenance services can help you keep up with those requirements.
Liability, Communications and Cancellations
Limitation of liability
Reliance Air Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use or goodwill, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by acts of God, labor disputes, supply shortages or other causes beyond our reasonable control.
SMS and calls
By providing your phone number, you consent to service-related calls and texts such as appointment confirmations, dispatch updates and review requests, and, with a separate opt-in, promotional offers. Message frequency varies and carrier rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We do not sell phone numbers or share them with marketing partners.
Cancellations
You may cancel a scheduled repair or maintenance visit at no charge with at least 24 hours' notice. Later cancellations may incur a cancellation fee. Once special-order equipment, such as particular mini-split configurations, has been ordered from the manufacturer, the related deposit is non-refundable because of restocking and shipping costs.

Why might a deposit be required for an installation?
